On the 17th January a number of Stones supporters will be doing a sponsored walk in aid of the Maidstone United Ground Fund and the Demelza House Children's Hospice. The walkers will depart from the site of the new ground in James Whatman Way at 8am and aim to arrive at the Longmead Betterview Stadium, Tonbridge in time for the derby match against Tonbridge Angels kicking off at 3pm. Sponsor forms are available from The Stones website for those wishing to take part, or if you wish to sponsor somebody post a message on the SMTWTGH message board.

Charity starts with Stones

Two of Maidstone United’s youth teams are spreading the message of a local charity, which supports children growing up in a remote region of southern Ethiopia.

England Schoolboys

Congratulations and good luck to Maidstone Utd U18 defender Rob Carter who has made it through to the final 32 of the England Schoolboy trials, one of only two Kent boys to reach this stage.

The club wish Rob the very best of luck in the final stages of selection and hope he will follow in the steps of Sam Morrison, Chris Smalling and Ashley Ulph who made the final international schoolboy squads in previous seasons.
