Sunday 16th November,

Ashford Town 0 - 4 Maidstone United

Another early start for the young stones saw them away to Ashford Town. There was some worrying signs to start as it looked like the boy's were still in their beds but after they shook the early morning cobwebs they began to look comfortable on a very difficult, heavy pitch. Things then took another turn for the worse when Tom Welch took a knock and had to be replaced, this spurred the stones on but it took until just before half time before they could capitalise after some great link up play between Ryan Perkins and Harry Avis allowed Craig Parris to cross for George Wellard who rose well and finished the move off by scoring with his head.

The Second half saw the boy's come out with their tails up looking to try and make it two wins in two games and after a cross from the right, Ryan Perkins drifted in from the left to smartly finish with a volley with his less favoured right foot. Shortly after this Jack Clover popped up to finish with his head in true poaching fashion. The day was rounded off when George Wellard forced home a loose ball to make it Ashford 0 Maidstone 4.

Again there was some outstanding team displays from Daniel Jenner, who was fantastic working box to box, also the back four who are beginning to look more of a unit as each week passes.
