Whyteleafe 1 - 2 Maidstone United

This was not one of the Stones best displays of the season against a Whyteleafe side determined to get plenty of players defending and behind the ball.

The Stones played well in patches but were frustrated by the oppositions tactics. Scott Ibbertson and Pat Ennis gave them a comfortable 2 goal advantage at half time which should have been added to in the second period, but for the woodwork and the lack final finishing.

Whyteleafe picked up a consolation goal with 5 minutes of the game remaining from a poorly defended corner kick but The Stones were never in any real danger of giving up the 3 points.
