Maidstone United Rangers 1 - 2 Roseacre Raiders

In the first half Maidstone did very well, strong at the back and creative going forwards. Unfortunately a lack of concentration at the back cost them dearly when a Roseacre attacker exploited with his pace and calmly put away the effort for the 1-0 scoreline. However, minutes later after Ricky substitute Pat Wooley pounced on a looseclearance to slot in for 1-1. Halftime arrived with Rangers possibly having the better of the half and possession.

The second half began brightly with Pat Wooley again being involved in a flowing move where he beat 2 players and slipped in a cutting effort across the keeper which rebounded off of the post. Very unlucky indeed. Roseacre then pressed forward and were rewarded with their second and final goal. 2 or 3 more chances came for Maidstone but they couldnt turn chances into goals and so the game finished 2-1. The man of the match went to Josh Sutliff for his outstanding efforts at the back, with Pat Wooley close behind.
