Leybourne 9 - 0 Maidstone
United Rangers A game of two halves, the first half saw Maidstone compete and were very unlucky to go into the interval one nil down. The Leybourne goal was a very crisp strike from outside the box that Nick Henson, the Maidstone keeper, had no chance with. Then a good shout for a penalty when a Leybourne defender kicked Jordan Lean in the head inside the penalty box ended up as a free kick to Leybourne, Warnocks! I believe the second half performance hinged on the second goal which saw a Leybourne player hit a clean volley high over the midfield, defence and finally Ryan Thomas, the Maidstone substitute keeper, from all of 45 yards out, from then on there was only one team in it and it wasn't Maidstone. The first half showed
that Maidstone can play as a team they've just got to sustain it for the full
80 minutes. .
