The Stones started off the first half really quickly against Leybourne playing some great passing, attacking football found themselves 4 up with goals by Tobi A for his first goal of the season, Jake Brunton, Harry Martin & Deon Oldrey.

After the break Maidstone didn't use the pitch as well as in the first half but still played a good passing game scored 2 more goals through a beautiful finish by Haden Rogers and Scott Rowatt who thoroughly deserved his goal which was also his first of the season.

The game finished 6-2 manager Steven Garrett thought and the first half was the best half of football they had played all season. "Being fair" he said, "the six we got should have been plenty more and would have been if it wasnt for the woodwork a few times and their goalkeeper".
