Maidstone
United Rascals got off the mark in the South Eastern Counties Women's Football
League with a 1-1 draw away to Deal Town. It is a mark of how the squad
has improved that they lost the corresponding home fixture 5-1 earlier
in the season.

The Rest of the
Weekend Action
The under 18s continued their fine form in the Kent Youth League with a
4-0 win against Sittingbourne. The under 15s had no such luck losing out
4-3 away to Lydd Town but the under 14s beat Ramsgate in an 8 goal thriller
to go top of the League. The under 13s also moved up the table with a fine
4-0 away win at Ashford Town. Rangers under 16s saw their first action
for a over month in the Maidstone Minor League when they went
down 2-1 to Roseacre Raiders.
In the Maidstone
Primary League Consolation Cup Rangers under 15s progressed with a comfortable
6-1 win away to Ditton Minors and the under 13s also went through,
emphatically beating
Vinters Green 7-2, while in the league the under 10s had two close
fought draws with Holtwood.

Congratulations and
good luck to Maidstone Utd U18 defender Rob Carter who has made it through
the South East regional trials and is only one of two Kent players to feature
this weekend against the South West regional side on Sunday.
The club wish Rob
the very best of luck in the final stages of selection and hope he will
follow in the steps of Sam Morrison, Chris Smalling and Ashley Ulph who
made the final international schoolboy squads in previous seasons.
